"Well, My dad always wanted me to join the war, and I didn't want to fight, so I had to settle on being a Medic." He looked around.
"I came here to get away from my Step-Dad," Destiny explained, "I was n the gymnastics team. I trained myself hard. Harder than everyone. I thought that if I was really good, my step-dad would love me... But he abused me. I finnaly brought up the courage to fight back. I hurt him pretty bad when I was Fifteen. I had to stay with him after that, and he ket me locked up in my room." She looked up at Gabe and smiled, "Gabe would always sneak in my window and hold my while I cried. He was like a brother. Always watching after me... Then one day, I was seventeen, My dad came home drunk. I snuck out of my room, but he saw me. He tried to hurt me, but I ran. I ran to Gabe's house... Then told him I wanted to join the army. We left that night, and I havn't talked to any relative sence." Destiny leaned on Gabe's shoulder. "Now everything's just as confuzing..."
"My life's pretty boring..." said Gabe. "I've always cared about Destiny very much...I never really thought about dating her, but now..." Gabe glanced at Destiny. "I realize that I loved her all along..."
"You... Lied to me." Caboose whined. Destiny stood and ran to her room. She threw her armor on and grabbed her helmet. By the time she got out the others had done the same. She leaned down and grabbed ehr gun. She winced in pain, but tried not to show it.
