"Do you think she's alive?" Destiny clicked her helmet into place.

"Of course..." answered Gabe. "Tex has a lot of strength, and courage. It would be hard for her to NOT be alive."

"But the explosion... Right as they disapeared..." Destiny shivered at the thought. Gabe and Destiny had been assigned to Blood Gulch after the incident, but they had heard enough.

"Yeah, I know." Gabe hated to reveal his feelings. "It was scary."

"Let's go..." She changed the subject. She knocked on Church's door. "You comming?" She asked. There was no answer.
"I'm staying!" Caboose yelled from his room. Sister and Tucker were busy flirting.
"You comming, Doc?" Destiny yelled to him.
"I'm a pacifist!" He yelled back.
"I guess it's just us..." Destiny grabbed her gun and backed out the door.

Destiny looked through her sniper riffle to the Red base. "They're all on the top." She smiled. "Can you dodge good?"

"Pretty good...." said Gabe. He began to rise his sniper.

" 'kay... You shoot from the front, and I'll sneak around back. Wait for my signal..." She punched him in the shoulder before running to the side of the canyon.

"That's cool with me." he said. He closed one eye, and pointed the gun at the base. He postioned it carefully, and waited for the signal.

Destiny positioned heself behind the unsuspecting red soldiers. She felt the adrenaline rush through her. All the sound around her disapeared, and all she could hear was her own steady breathing. She gave the signal.
