"Well," She smiled, grabbing his hand, "I like you because you've always been there for me. It's a miracle that we got recruited to the same place. You were the one I always called to come over and cry to. There was a million times I almost kissed you. Especially when my mom left me... You'd come over and just hold me while I cried. We've always been close, Gabe." She looked up at him with her deep blue eyes. They sparkled at the memories.

"I know......At first I just thought of you as a friend......But then, I realized that I loved you, but I was too shy to say it................Until now." Gabe stepped closer to her, and closed his eyes. He leaned over to kiss her when suddenly, BOOOM!!!! Something exploded nearby.
"What the heck was that!?!?!?!?" screamed Gabe. Whatever it was, it had just interrupted his kiss.

Destiny threw her helmet back on and grabbed her gun. There was a large cloud of smoke. She couldn't see anything!

"We don't even have our armor, on!" Gabe complained. He pulled Destiny close to him. He wasn't going to let anything happen to her. As the smoke cleared, he saw a figure through the smoke. It was a red.
